Terms for HomeCostEngine digital books.

These terms apply to paid downloadable PDFs sold through HomeCostEngine.

Digital delivery

Paid books are delivered electronically after successful payment through the checkout flow. A working internet connection and software capable of opening PDF files are required.

Personal-use license

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the purchased book for your own personal planning. You may print a personal copy. You may not resell, redistribute, upload publicly, share the download file commercially, or represent the content as your own.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. HomeCostEngine does not store full card numbers. Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Taxes may be added when required and when tax collection is enabled.

Planning information only

The books are educational planning resources. They are not contractor bids, engineering services, legal advice, code approval, financial advice, or a substitute for a qualified professional who can inspect your property.

Updates

A purchase covers the edition delivered at the time of purchase. Future editions, expanded versions or separate products may be sold separately.

Refunds

Because the products are digital and can be accessed immediately, refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
